Wow, I can’t believe that it is already day 30 of the 30 Day Photo Challenge! I am on the lookout for other fun photog challenges to start, so let me know if you have any ideas:)

This photo is my submission for “Self Portrait”. I had another idea in mind when I set out to take the photo, but this random shot seemed perfect for that theme. What do you think?

For those of you who care about details, this shot was taken at 26mm, ISO 800, f2.8, 1/50. Contrast, clarity, and highlights fixed in Lightroom 4.

Have a wonderful day!

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day #25 “Strangers”

20130307-RB2013_DEC0042

It’s already day #25 of the 30 Day Photo Challenge and today’s theme is “Strangers”. It honestly took a while for me to figure out what to shoot for this theme. Well, I was looking at old photographs today and I realized that while the people in these old photos are my ancestors, they really are strangers to me. Most of them haven’t even been alive since I’ve been born. Isn’t it crazy to think about it that way?!

For those of you who care about details, this shot was taken at 34mm, ISO 200, f2.8, 1/200. Contrast, clarity, and sepia tone fixed in Lightroom 4.
