30 Day Photo Challenge: Day #5 “After Dark”

001February 13, 2013

This is my photo for day #5 “After Dark”. I knew right away what I wanted to photograph today! I love the shape and the glow-y-ness (I know that isn’t a word!) of our porch lights. I changed the photo to B&W in Lightroom 4 and upped the contrast a bit. I like the dramatic feel of the final product:)

For those of you who care about details, this shot was taken at 50mm, ISO 100, f1.8, 1/30 of a second.

I have five blogger friends who have joined me so far in this challenge! To see their challenge posts, please visit their blogs at:

If you would like to join in, please leave me a comment to let me know. I will put a link to any other participants at the bottom of each of my challenge posts. Reminder: It can take you MORE than 30 days to complete this challenge. I know it will definitely take me longer than that:)

My challenge posts will be filled under the “30 Day Photo Challenge” tab on the main page of my blog. Enjoy:)

  1. I love the glow of the white light in this photograph. It is very simple, yet dramatic. I really cannot thank you enough for showing me ordinary things in an extraordinary way!
