This is the 1st part in a series of photos that I took at the Chicago Art Institute this past weekend. As you can see, the statues and gorgeous architecture was one of my favorite parts:) I hope you enjoy the photos!

  1. Uncle John and I love the Art Institute! We haven’t been in forever. The last time we went, our favorite painting (I call it “Sunday in the Park with George” which is actually a play I saw in London based on Seurat’s painting.) wasn’t being displayed because it was being ‘serviced’. We were so bummed. I love the black and white images you’ve captured. I think the ones of Abraham Lincoln are my favorites.

  2. I think this collection is awesome. You captured my favorite pieces from that trip to the Art Institute. I love that you included both sculpture and ceilings in this collection to make a neat contrast. Your photos of the white busts are stunning.
